Alta Lamoin Brannam Obituary
Alta Lamoin Brannam, 79, of Dover, Arkansas passed away July 10,2026. She was born on November 1,1946 in Magazine, Arkansas to John Henry Brannam and Bessie Jewel Wilson Brannam.
She was the daughter to migrant workers and traveled extensively across the United States as a child. She liked to tell stories about all their adventures. She could sew, quilt and build just about anything for her family and friends. They loved to receive her crafts. This wonderful woman raised 13 children in her lifetime and helped raise several more. Her house was filled with what she loved most, her family. She will be greatly missed by all who know her. You were always invited in to have a seat, eat a meal, stay the night, or make a pallet on the floor.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lonnie Brannam and daughter in law Brandi Ensey.
She is survived by her children Annette Dean (Jack), Kim Ensey, Johnny Ensey and Crystal Turner: sister, Pauline Scanthling (Doyle Rich); brother, Henry Brannam (Wanda), 17 grandchildren of which three are from the home, David, Dakota, Lena, 34 great grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.
