Lynn Earl Krupp, a beautiful, kind, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed from this life to the next on July 4, 2026.


Lynn was born June 3, 1938, the fifth son of Robert Rudolph Krupp and Thelma Grace Morgan Krupp in Sparks, Nevada.


Lynn attended Sparks schools and graduated from Sparks High School. He served in the US Navy Submarine Service for 4 years. After the Navy, Lynn worked in Sacramento for Aerojet General Corporation before returning to Reno. Lynn worked for SEA Engineers for several years, then was employed by Washoe County, first as assistant building superintendent, then as Washoe County Building Chief.


Lynn had a great work ethic. He owned the Big O Tire store on Kietzke Lane and retired from the store in 2000. In retirement he loved his job as greeter at the Reno airport!


Lynn was blessed to be a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served as Elders Quorum president, counselor in the Bishopric, High Councilman, and loved his service in the Oakland temple for 4 years and the Reno temple for 14 years.


Lynn and his wife Linda are the parents of Julie Michelle Swenson (Brad), Kathryn Renee Wamsley and Debra Susan Slight (Mark). Lynn loved his 18 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren, the 37th being born on his 88th birthday.


Lynn is survived by his beloved wife Linda Young Krupp, married 66 years, his brothers Arlen, Harry, Donald Jay, James Allen and sister Marilyn Johnson.


Lynn is predeceased by his parents Robert and Thelma, his brothers Robert, Farrell and Blaine and granddaughter Karoline Elizabeth.


Memorial service will be held at the LDS Church, 1095 Golconda Drive, Saturday, July 11, 2026. Viewing at 9AM, service at 10AM. Dedication of the grave will follow at Mountain View cemetery, 435 Stoker Drive, Reno Nevada.
