Tull, Eric (1952 – 2026)

The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday July 4, 2026 at the age of 74 years after a lengthy battle with COPD and a short and courageous battle with cancer. Eric Gordon Tull, born in May of 1952 in his hometown of Welland, Ontario was born to the late Raymond and the late Maryann (born Milne). Beloved husband of Nancy (born Moore), the love of his life, with whom he was married for 39 years. Loving father to his 4 daughters Maryann Tull, Terri Gilson, Lisa Valley (Shawn), and Christina Pellerin (Chris). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dear brother of Sue Brown (Chris) and Albert Tull. Predeceased by his sister Ann Tull.

Eric was a talented painter, had a successful business and he loved that Nancy was able to work with him on numerous jobs. He was well known for his vibrant smile, his hospitality, goofy spirit, his stories, and his stubbornness. Many of these qualities will live on with the ones he loved the most.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to those who provided care for Eric over the years. A special thank you goes out to Dr. De Zoysa, Dr. Labelle, the Pro Resp Team in North Bay, and all of their teams. The care Eric received at the West Nipissing General Hospital with Rajs’ and Dr. Desormiers team would also like to be recognized by Erics’ family.

A celebration of life will be held at the Comfort Inn, Sturgeon Falls on Saturday, August 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home and Crystal Crematorium, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
