Tonji Meredith Waldrop, 56, of Greenville, South Carolina, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Born on August 10, 1969, she lived a life defined by kindness, grace, and an unwavering devotion to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, aunt, and proud grandmother, Tonji spent her life pouring love into everyone around her. She met each day with a gentle spirit and a helping hand, and she leaves behind a legacy of faith and love that time can never diminish. Those who knew her remember her warmth, her generous heart, and the quiet strength with which she carried her family through every season.

Tonji is preceded in her homegoing by loved ones who welcomed her into glory, and she leaves behind a family whose lives she shaped and blessed beyond measure.

Her Siblings: Sister, Sonji Meredith; and Brother, Fredrick Meredith of Simpsonville. Also surviving: Aunt Laura Evans of Greenville, and Uncle James Evans of Simpsonville, SC, and a Host Of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
