Gregory Kerry Burgin, 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Worth, Texas.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Greg dedicated much of his life to serving his country and his community. He proudly served in the United States Navy, retiring with the rank of Senior Chief Fire Controlman after a distinguished military career. Following his service, he continued his commitment to excellence as a Systems Engineer with Lockheed Martin, where he retired after many years of dedicated work.

Greg will be remembered for his strength, integrity, quiet wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family. His military service and professional accomplishments reflected his strong work ethic and deep sense of responsibility, but his greatest pride was always the family he loved.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Burgin.

Greg is survived by his loving wife, Ramona Burgin; his sister, Connie Mann; his children, Curtis Burgin of Napa, California, Mark Brown of Gladewater, Texas, Shelly Burns of Greenville, Texas, and Kelly Garcia of La Mirada, California. He also leaves behind 14 beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him great joy and pride.

Greg’s memory will live on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the legacy of honor, service, and devotion he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
