DeWaldon Egnatius Frazier, age 69 of Columbia, Missouri passed away peacefully, July 8, 2026 at home in Columbia, Missouri.

Born on September 20, 1956, in Fort Knox, Kentucky, DeWaldon was the son of Col. Thelma Frazier and Juanita Porchia Frazier.

DeWaldon was known for his welcoming personality, his passion for life, fishing, family and his deep love of Jesus. DeWaldon never met a stranger, he loved talking to everyone he encountered. Once you met him, you knew you had a forever friend.

DeWaldon touched so many lives through his everyday routines and through Frazier Outreach Ministries. He spent the last four years traveling with his wife, Rita in their RV (Revival Vehicle), leading campground worship services, sharing the Gospel, and telling everyone how Jesus turned his life around.

Just as DeWaldon touched lives, his life was touched also by many ministries and ministry leaders he served with. He served on the board of From His Throne Ministry in Little Rock, Arkansas. He and his wife received their ministers licenses at Agape Church in Little Rock in 2009. In Missouri, he enjoyed being a part of the worship and prayer teams at Destiny Pointe Church.

DeWaldon and his wife Rita founded Frazier Outreach Ministry in 2018. They recorded a CD that same year. In 2022, they purchased an RV and followed the call to become full-time RVers sharing the gospel in campgrounds. He drove countless miles through the United States sharing his testimony of Jesus and how He turned his life around.

DeWaldon enjoyed fishing as much as possible. He might go by himself, but he would leave with a new found friend and usually a good fish story.

DeWaldon loved his family. He was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He spoke fondly of his daughter and his grandchildren to anyone willing to listen, often pulling out his phone to show them his latest pictures.

In 2015, DeWaldon and Rita moved to Columbia, Missouri to be near their daughter and grandchildren. He has been an integral part of his grandkids’ lives watching them grow in sports, academics, and Christ. One of his most memorable moments was witnessing Joshua and Jessica being baptized and getting to baptize Joseph in the family swimming pool.

He leaves to carry on his legacy of faith his wife, Rita Frazier; daughter, Promise Jackson; grandsons, Joshua Jackson and Joseph Jackson; and granddaughter, Jessica Jackson, all of Columbia, Missouri. He also leaves behind one brother Keneth Frazier (Cathy) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; aunt Erma Tisdale (Herman deceased); sister-in-law, Pamela Wallace (Jeffery) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Col. Thelma Frazier and Juanita Porchia Frazier; and his sister Patricia Frazier.

DeWaldon served in the U.S. Army for eight years as a strategic microwave systems repairer and microwave systems in Heidelberg, Germany. He was part of the 181st Signal Company.

DeWaldon received his CDL license while working for Security Shredding, later Cintas Shredding, in Little Rock. Once settled in Missouri, he became employed with the Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri as a Mobile Food Pantry driver. He retired from there in 2023 but enjoyed it and the people there so much he went back to work there part time. He was employed there until his passing.

Those who knew DeWaldon will remember his joyful attitude, his smile and the warmth he gave when he entered a room. Many who have attended church with him remember his exuberant expressions of “GLORY!” sometimes as he ran around the sanctuary in expression of his love for Jesus and how he turned his life around.

DeWaldon was definitely not a one-dimensional person. He was athletic and enjoyed singing and playing the bass. He was an outstanding football player at Pine Bluff High School and went on to become a defensive player for University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane football team. As a linebacker he recorded notable defensive statistics, including 40 total tackles in the 1977 campaign. He sang in the choir in high school which included a trip to Israel. As an adult he learned how to play the bass and used that gift within the music ministry of the church.

DeWaldon accepted Jesus as his Savior as a young child. His grandmother prophesied that he would be a preacher and it seems that put a target on his back. After years of struggling in addictions while living as a civilian in Germany. He called his mother to pray for him. She did just that and sent him a Bible. He read that Bible even while under the influence. One day as he was reading Psalm 107:17 - 22 this is what he says happened: “I began reading that Bible and I saw myself in the Word of God. One night the presence of God entered the room and changed everything! Darkness became Light and every work of the enemy was destroyed. The chains that held me were broken and I was set free!” This is why DeWaldon lived passionately like he did. This is why he loved deeply. He experienced a complete turn around in his life and he wanted to let everyone know about the goodness of God and how he can do the same for anyone.

For friends in Missouri, a memorial service will be held on July 12, at 6:00 p.m. at Destiny Pointe Church located at 1900 N Providence Rd, Columbia, Missouri.

Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate a life well-lived on July 16, at 9:30 a.m. at Agape Church at 701 Napa Valley Road in Little Rock, Arkansas.

DeWaldon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His faith, kindness, smile, laughter and love for others leave behind a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

It is the family's prayer that if you haven't received Jesus as your deliverer and savior that you would do that today. If you have strayed away from your relationship with your Father God, today would be a great day to rededicate your life to Him.
