Laney Lou-Lynn McNutt, 2, of Urbana, Ohio gained her angel wings unexpectedly on July 5, 2026.

Laney was born on May 16, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio to Kambree and Tevon McNutt.

Laney brought a little bit of magic wherever she went. At just two years old, she already had a personality all her own. Laney was fearless, full of life, and had a smile that could light up any room. She was a little wild at heart, always on the move, keeping everyone on their toes and making sure she was the center of attention. Whether she was running, playing, aggravating her sisters, or giving Mommy and Daddy a run for their money, she made every day an adventure.

She had a big appetite and an even bigger personality, earning her the sweet nickname "Fathead Girl" because she wanted to try everything. Fruit snacks were always a favorite, and she had a special talent for sneaking sips of Dad’s drinks whenever she could. She loved unicorns, and her imagination and excitement for the little things around her made each day more fun.

Laney had a special bond with her sissies and Hay Hay, and she loved being surrounded by the people who loved her most. She was a little girl who knew how to make her presence known. Though Laney’s time here was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain a part of her family always. Her sweet smile, bright personality, and the joy she brought into their lives will forever hold a special place in their hearts and she will be missed beyond words.

Laney is survived by her loving parents, Kambree and Tevon McNutt; sisters, Mazalynn, Haizlee and Bexlie; grandparents, Susan and Kevin Cox and Tim and Sheri McNutt; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Laney is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Nana and Gramps Lapp and Alfred and Martha Cox, Gigi, and her Uncle Skylar.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the West Liberty First Church of God, 315 Liberty St, West Liberty, OH 43357, with Pastor Nate Wilcoxon officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.

The family requests that any flowers sent be bright and colorful, reflecting the happiness and Laney’s vibrant spirit.
