Lisa Renee (Wold) Bowman, age 62, passed away on Friday July 3rd in Ottawa, IL.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Rev. Sherry Stevenson, Pastor of Crossbridge Community Church in Ottawa, will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 - 6:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Freedom Lutheran Cemetery.

She was born on October 12, 1963 to Clifford Wold and Marlene Tuftie. She loved her sisters Sonya and Juli. Lisa shared a special bond with her "Irish Twin" sister Juli. They were inseparable. Lisa created lifetime friends from a group of people she has known since middle school.

Lisa graduated Ottawa Township High School in 81' and was a graduate of Midstate College with an associate degree in medical assisting. Lisa loved working for "her doctors" over the years as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist. She enjoyed her patients and cared for them deeply.

Lisa was a kind, vibrant spirit who was hard working and a strong mother. Her daughter Erica, will forever be her "baby girl." Lisa was proud to be called Grandma Lisa, as her two grandchildren were her greatest gifts in life. She was blessed with beautiful, everlasting friendships filled with love and laughter. Lisa loved life. She loved music, concerts, trail rides, and traveling, and so much more. Lisa made an incredible impact on everyone she met with her enormous heart, charismatic nature, and fun-loving personality. She lived with faith, love, and hope always, and continued to do so during the health challenges that occurred later in her life. She is free and has reunited with her daddy, Cliff in all eternity.

Lisa is survived by her daughter Erica Bowman (Sean); grandchildren Dagney and Aksel Bowman; mother Marlene Tuftie; sister Juli Backos (Bob); sister Sonya Moreno (Steve); nieces, Ashley Halterman and Lauren Moreno. Lisa is preceded in death by her beloved father Clifford Wold.

An additional celebration of life gathering for Lisa will be held at a later date in Ottawa, IL.
