Teresa L. Longano, 63, of Kirksville passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO.

The daughter of Sam and Anna Mae (Bartmess) Stewart, Teresa was born January 6, 1963 in Kirksville, MO. On January 21, 1983 in Kirksville, she was united in marriage to John Longano.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Donna Lynn Stewart and Becky (Stewart) Stufflebean

Teresa is survived by her husband, John Longano; three daughters, Charlotte Reed and partner Mike Dickens, Alicia Grant and husband Kevin, and Marissa Longano. Three grandchildren Andromeda and Aurora Harrison, and River Dickens

Teresa was raised in the Kirksville area attending the Kirksville public schools. After marriage, she dedicated her life to raising her children, and was often called 'Mom' by her children's friends. She liked to listen to music, play word games, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Everyone who knew her loved her and she will be sadly missed. Luscan Funeral Services are honored to care for and minister to Teresa's family during this time.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
