Jean Fay Sutz of Chaffee, NY passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the age of 92.

She was born on December 29, 1933, in Buffalo, NY, and was a daughter of the late Louis C. Block and Norma (Jackson) Witzleben. Jean was a devoted homemaker and a longtime member of Unity Church of Practical Christianity in Buffalo.

On October 1, 1954, she married Raymond J. Sutz Sr. in Buffalo. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Jean is survived by her sons, Raymond J. Sutz Jr. of Chaffee and Larry A. (Tina) Sutz of Delevan; her granddaughter, Amanda Sutz of Yorkshire; her great-grandson, Ty Hudson of Yorkshire; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Sutz; her sister, Carol E. Corbett; and her brother, Harry Block.

There will be no prior visitation. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family, with interment in Protection Cemetery.
