A memorial service celebrating the life of Pamela Reed Brown will be held at 5:00PM on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Fall Creek Funeral Home, Pineville. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 4:00PM and will resume after the service with food provided.

 Ms. Pamela Reed Brown, age 58, of Dry Prong, gained her wings on July 1, 2026 in Rapides Regional Medical Center.

 Pamela loved cooking, reading, playing her slot games, and cards. She had an unconditional love for everyone, but most of all, she loved her grandkids more than anything in this world. She was the sweetest mom, grandmother, sister, and friend until you made her mad which meant you were going to get a cussing. But that’s what made her the best woman that we all love so deeply with all our hearts. From Texas to Louisiana, everyone she met loved her. She always believed in second chances and had a very special place in her heart for everyone. If you had the chance to meet her, you were blessed to share her love.

  She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Liza Bernice Reed; her grandparents, Luther and Matilda Reed, Boyd and Evie Wiley; her brothers, Pete and Jimmy reed; and her brother-in-law, Don L. Dupree.

 Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Matilda Reed of Longview, Texas, Brenda Thompson (Adam) of Hallsville, Texas, and Jewel Brown, Jr. of Dry Prong, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Cameron Reed, Sean, Abel, and Angel Brightwell, Jamari Reese, Joshua and Hayden Brown; her siblings, Rita Diane Dupree, Cecil R. Reed (Margaret), David Lee Reed; her nieces and nephews, Jimmy Ray Reed, Donella, Derek, and Dustin Dupree, Richard Reed, and so many more.

 Her wings were ready, but our hearts were definitely not.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Fall Creek Funeral Home, Robbie  Dauzat, Director.
