Daryl A. Mulnite passed away peacefully at his home on June 29, 2026, at the age of 62. At the time of his passing, Daryl was the primary owner and manager of the family business, Mulnite Farms in Broad Book, started by his grandfather, Emil O. Mulnite, in 1905 and subsequently owned by his father, Leonard Mulnite. Daryl dedicated his entire adult life to working on this farm, raising tobacco and nursery stock.

Daryl was very proud of his time of service in the U.S. Army during his young adult years. After returning home, he loved playing baseball on local hometown teams, playing flag football in neighboring towns and especially fishing of all kinds, either ocean, stream or ice fishing on a frozen lake. He was an avid lover of and so proud of the fish he raised for years in his huge fish tanks at home and the cats who would come and stretch out on the newspaper he was always reading on the kitchen table.

He will be dearly missed by his beloved family, his wife Nancy Mulnite, daughter Lindsay Mulnite and granddaughter Savannah Mulnite. Also, his fur-baby Luna. His sisters Debra Mulnite, Kim Beckwith along with brother-in-law William Beckwith also loved him dearly and will miss his brotherly love and that special laugh he always shared. Along with his niece Devon Powell and nephew Alex Powell and the very, very many friends and extended family he had and held dear, he will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be held at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor, on Wednesday, July 8th, from 10am-12noon followed by a short memorial service, and Military Honors. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
