Aliceann Clouse Obituary

Aliceann Clouse, 83, of Arcade, NY, passed away peacefully at her home on June 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 21, 1942, in Buffalo, NY, and was the daughter of the late Melvin Frank and Anne Elizabeth (Kirchgassner) Knoll.

Alice was a founding member of Pioneer Christian Fellowship Church in Arcade, where she faithfully worshipped since 1977. She taught Sunday School, led Bible studies at both the church and in her home, and was an ordained minister who had the privilege of performing baptisms and marriages. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she generously shared it with everyone she met.

Alice had a passion for animals, especially horses and her beloved dog, but nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was a part-owner of the Wyoming County Parachute Center, where she enjoyed the thrill of skydiving. Alice also dedicated herself to her family as a homemaker and served as the bookkeeper for her husband's business, Tom's Route 16 Auto in Chaffee. In addition, she enjoyed a successful career in real estate, working with Wolfer Realty and Zientek Realty before establishing her own business, Alice Clouse Realty, in Chaffee.

Her beloved husband of 64 years, Thomas Clouse, Sr., whom she married on April 28, 1962, survives. She is also survived by her sons: Thomas (Katie) Clouse II of Arcade, Steven (Christina) Clouse of Chaffee, and Edward (Tiffany) Clouse of Henderson, KY; her grandchildren: Steven (Steven Hesse) Clouse, Tom (Kristin) Clouse, Tara (Tony) Gatto, Thomas "Tré" Clouse III, Grace Clouse, Olivia Clouse, Michael Clouse, and Benjamin Clouse; four great-grandchildren, with two more expected; her brother-in-law, Herman Clouse of Newstead; her sister-in-law, Christina Knoll of Latham; along with several nieces, nephews, and her treasured church family and friends at Pioneer Christian Fellowship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia Clouse, Melvin (Dolly) Knoll, and Richard Knoll.

In keeping with Alice's wishes, there will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
