Parkinson; Donald Ryerson

Passed away in his home and surrounded by love on Monday June 22, 2026 at the age of 86. He will forever remain in the heart of his spouse Barbara Parkinson (nee Gibson) with whom he spent 55 wonderful years. Loving father to Cheryl Powell (Mike des Bois), and Donald Jr (Lorie) Parkinson, and Daryl (Kim) Parkinson. Don was a proud Poppa to Wesley, Shawn, Brandon (Brittany), Heidi, Jared (Jolly Ann), Leo, and Gray. Cherished great Poppa to Bryson, Brooklynn, and Johnzen. Surviving siblings, Mildred, Aprile and Christopher will surely feel Don's absence. Don is predeceased by parents James and Mildred Parkinson (nee Collinson) as well as siblings James, Doreen, Glenn, Dennis, Patricia, Jeanne, and Bob. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life in Don's memory will be held at a later date. If you wish, memorial donations can be made to The L&A County General Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
