Vezina, Noël (1941-2026)

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Noël Vézina, le 20 juin, Au Château à Sturgeon Falls, à l’âge de 84 ans. Il était un homme exceptionnel dont la bonté, la douceur et la générosité ont marqué tous ceux qui ont eu le privilège de le connaître.

Noël laisse dans le deuil son épouse adorée, Gisèle, avec qui il a partagé 61 merveilleuses années de mariage, bâtissant une vie remplie d'amour, de respect et de dévouement.

Il était un père aimé et admiré de Sylvie (Yves) et Michel (Sylvie). Il était également un grand-père fier et attentionné pour Mike, Eric, Émilie, Sophie et Gabriel, ainsi qu'un arrière-grand-père comblé de Anthony, Clayton, Élodie, Lucie et Louie.

Noël était reconnu pour sa douceur hors pair, sa patience d'ange et son éthique de travail exceptionnelle. Homme de cœur, il faisait preuve d'une grande bienveillance envers tous ceux qu'il rencontrait. Époux attentionné et père extraordinaire, il a toujours placé sa famille au centre de sa vie, lui offrant amour, soutien et sagesse.

Son souvenir demeurera vivant dans le cœur de sa famille et de ses nombreux amis. Son héritage de gentillesse, d'humilité et de dévouement continuera d'inspirer les générations qui suivent.

Il sera profondément regretté et grandement manqué par tous ceux qui ont eu la chance et l'honneur de le connaître.

Que son âme repose en paix.

La famille tient à exprimer sa profonde gratitude au personnel du 3e étage d’Au Château pour les excellents soins, l’attention et la bienveillance prodigués à Noël au cours des dix derniers mois.

Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au Salon Funéraire Théoret Bourgeois et Crystal Crematorium, Sturgeon Falls.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Noël Vézina on June 20th, at Au Château in Sturgeon Falls, at the age of 84.

Noël was an exceptional man whose kindness, gentleness, and generosity touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Gisèle, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage, building a life founded on love, respect, and devotion.

He was the cherished and admired father of Sylvie (Yves) and Michel (Sylvie). He was also a proud and loving grandfather to Mike, Eric, Émilie, Sophie, and Gabriel, and a devoted great-grandfather to Anthony, Clayton, Élodie, Lucie, and Louie.

Noël was known for his remarkable gentleness, angelic patience, and exceptional work ethic. A man of great heart, he showed kindness and compassion to everyone he met. A caring husband and an extraordinary father, he always placed his family at the center of his life, providing them with love, support, and wisdom.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and many friends. His legacy of kindness, humility, and dedication will continue to inspire future generations.

He will be deeply mourned and greatly missed by all who had the good fortune and honour of knowing him.
