Pearl Brown Brooks passed away on June 15, 2026, at the age of 95. Mrs. Brooks is survived by her children: Patricia Brooks, Elvin Brooks and Joseph Brooks, Jr., grandchildren: Natasha and Joseph Stevenson (Carmen), Joshua Vanado, Ashley Guss Salebarria (Joey), Chante´ Johnson (Robert) and Tiffany Brooks. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bernard Brooks, Sr., her parents Frank Brown, Sr. and Lillian Brown, siblings: Rose Pellette, Delores Bell, Dorothy Flemings, Margaret Williams (Calvin), Frank Brown, Jr., Jesse Brown, Sr. (Emma Lee) and Angelo Brown. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, June 27, 2026, for 10:00 a.m. at Christian Mission Baptist Church, 1477 N. Robertson Street, New Orleans, LA.
