Sybil C. Stone, 98, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
She was born February 13, 1928, in Pine Bluff, to Charles D. and Agnes Nettie Modlin Green.
Sybil was the owner and operator of Kirby Company and Diane’s Fashion.
She was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bowman Stone, her parents; a grandson Brandon Stone; brother, James Green; sisters, Della Mae Henderson, Lorene Bates, Wilma Hufford, Eloise Morris, and Kathryn Snyder.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Jakus (Eric); a son, Gary L. Stone (Debbie); grandchildren, Chris S. Streeter, Seth A. Stone (LeAnn); great- grandchildren, Teah M. Streeter, Macy B. Stone, Marlee K. Stone, Walker Bailey, Anna Grace Bailey; and a great-great granddaughter, Charlee A. Roberts.
Visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2026 , 10 to 11 a.m. at Salem Missionary Baptist Church
Funeral service will be Friday, June 12, 2026 , 11:00 a.m. at Salem Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Howard Loetscher officiating.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
