Harry Watson Obituary

William Henry "Harry" Watson

February 16, 1929- June 18, 2026

William Henry “Harry” Watson passed away at the LACGH- LTCH in Napanee, Ontario on June 18, 2026. Born in Toronto, the son of the late Joseph Henry and Elizabeth Sterling (nee Bennett), he joins his sister Marian Senyk , his remarkable wife Elizabeth Louise “Betty” (nee Pavelin) and his much loved grandson Mitch. Mitch and Harry may be bombing around a field in an old truck at this very moment.

Harry leaves behind his great grandchildren, Alexandria and Cheyanne, his grandchildren Stephen, Robert and Brooke and his children, William, Elizabeth, Steven and Michael and his nieces Karen and Tracey.

Harry truly enjoyed hearing from friends and family from near and far since he and Betty moved from the Scarborough and Whitby area. Supertest or G&W, Harry made connections with many people and never lost his curiosity or genuine interest in others.

Heartfelt thanks to all his friends and neighbours in Conway and friendly business folks in the area who always had time for a chat. Their engagement with Dad helped him stay in his little kingdom on the lake until just shy of his 96th birthday.

Harry praised the health system in Napanee and Kingston and would want to thank all of the nurses, doctors, hospital and office staff that took such good care of him and his wife Betty since their move to the area in 1995.

To the staff in Oakwood Villa, the care everyone took to ease Dad’s passing was phenomenal. Thank you.

As per his wishes there will not be a service. Condolences can be forwarded online through wartmanfuneralhomes.com. In his memory you can end the next conversation you have with someone “Let me know if I can give you a hand with anything”. He’d like that.
