Dave passed away suddenly, surrounded by the love of his family, on May 21, 2026 at Kingston General Hospital.

Dave is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 55 years Anita (nee Segat). He will live on in the hearts of his two sons Kevin (Dawne) and Jeff (Amanda) and his grandchildren Jessica, Nathan, Campbell, and Jacob. Predeceased by his sister Janice Tyrell and parents Norman and Edith. Fondly remembered by his sisters in-law Geraldine and Irma as well as his niece and many nephews. He will be missed by his many friends he made through his numerous hobbies.

A visitation for family and friends will take place Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 11 am - 12:30 pm at the Wartman Funeral Home - Napanee. A service of remembrance will follow in the funeral home at 12:30 pm, immediately followed by a reception. Interment at St. Linus Cemetery, Bath, ON will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Dave to the Bath Lions Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
