OZOG, Wendy Leigh 1961 - 2026

Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the age of 64.

Dear and loving daughter of Marilyn and the late Tony Ozog (1998). Forever missed by her brother Craig and his wife Maxine. Fondly remembered by her dear uncles Jim Ryan (late Judy), Allan Ryan, late aunt Dorothy Beemer (late Owen), her late uncles Mike, Ted, Frank, Stan, Alex, and aunt Jean (Ozog) Dinga and her Aunt Kathy Ozog and Walter Ozog along with her many cousins and friends.

A talented golfer, Wendy’s favourite pastime was playing a round at Rolling Meadows Golf & Country Club. The golf course was one of her cherished places. Wendy was a true animal lover and over the years loved and cared for many cats and dogs. She would also go out of her way to feed and care for the many feral cats in her neighborhood. Wendy was a kind, funny and caring soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Welland Hospital for the care and compassion Wendy received while in their care.

Family and friends will be received at the PELHAM EVANGELICAL FRIENDS CHURCH, 940 Haist Street, Fonthill, on Friday, May 29, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a service at 12 noon.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara or to the Niagara Health Foundation.
