Stautz, Matthew T. Ypsilanti, Michigan His legacy… Matthew T. Stautz, age 47, of Ypsilanti passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019. He was born on August 12, 1971 in Tecumseh, Michigan to Gary and Janice (Spaur) Stautz. Matt was a 1990 graduate of Chelsea High School. He worked for Mary Lou Murray Recreation Center for over 20 years. Matt was an avid sports fan and enjoyed collecting cards of all types. He enjoyed bowling and watching the New York Giants. He was a member of the Emanuel United Church of Christ in Manchester. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His Family… Matt will be missed by his parents Gary and Janice, sister Natalie Stautz - Suggs, niece Bailey Suggs and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Norma Stautz, Kenneth and Dorothy Spaur and sister, Holly Stautz. His Farewell… Matt’s family and friends will gather from 5PM-8PM on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home: Manchester Chapel (207 E. Duncan Street, Manchester, MI 48158).
