Dustin Michael Lea

October 8, 1998 - April 7, 2026

On the morning of April 7th, the world lost Dustin Lea, a father of four beautiful boys, Wyatt, Colson, Ryker, and Asher, and husband to Angel Lea. Dustin was born and raised in Curry County, living most of his life in Brookings, OR. In his youth, he was an accomplished athlete and a dedicated member of the robotics team. Sports were a constant throughout his childhood, beginning with T-ball when he was near the size of the bat, and culminating with football his senior year. He had a passion for engineering and understanding how things work, studying to become an electrician at the time of his passing. Dustin loved the outdoors, camping with family and kayaking on the Chetco River.

As an adult, he put all of himself into being a devoted father and hard worker at South Coast Lumber. Over his time there, he developed strong friendships with his co-workers who will miss him dearly. Being a father and provider meant the world to him, many nights and mornings were spent with his children asleep on his chest.

He is survived by his family, friends, co-workers, and community members. His parents Michelle and Mark, his siblings Mikaela and Conner, his wife Angel, and children Wyatt Avyen, Colson Alder, Ryker Alton, and Asher Avery, who will miss him everyday and carry on his legacy.
