Katherine “Kathy” Lynn Weigel, age 51, passed away at her residence on April 14, 2026. She was born on February 11, 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kathy attended St. Joe’s Elementary and Ross Local Schools and graduated from Cincinnati Christian High School. After high school she attended cosmetology school, graduating from Moler-Pickens Beauty Academy. She lived her life by music, loved shopping and was very artistic. She was an exceptional hairstylist that always pleased her clients with her artistic designs. She loved animals, especially her dogs. Kathy is survived by her father, Louis (Cheryl) Unger; her mother, Rosalind Spencer; her sister, Karri (Ron) Owens; her life partner, Michael Sandlin; step-brother, Richard (Judy) Blevins; step-sister, Amy (Brandon) Siebe; two special nieces, Hayley and Olivia Siebe; one special nephew, Timothy Owens; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Ada. She was preceded in death by her other beloved fur-baby, Biscuit. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 1 pm until time of celebration of life service at 3 pm at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH 45014. Memorials may be made to the SPCA Cincinnati, 11900 Conrey Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249. Burial will take place in Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd, Hamilton, OH 45011 on May 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
