Max Price Landis Obituary
Max Price Landis, 98, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Viva Senior Living in Hagerstown, MD.
Born June 6, 1927, in Berkeley County, WV, he was the son of the late Harry P. Landis and Cordelia E. Price Landis.
Max was retired from Mack Truck, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD. He was a devoted member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
In his younger years, Max enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his family. He faithfully served on various church boards and will be remembered as a kind and devoted Christian man.
He is survived by his son, Max R. Landis (Kathy); daughters, Tamara Barbour (Charles) and Cheryl Rudolph (Michael); granddaughters, Kelli Williams (Rusty), Kasi Callahan (Michael), Autumn Greenfield (C.L.), Emily Barbour, Hannah Barbour, and Clara Barbour; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie J. Landis; his brother, Harry “Judd” Landis; and his sisters, Gertrude Jones and LaRue Ardinger.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, with Rev. Ralph Campbell officiating.
Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
