Joyce Gail Clemons (Ferrell), age 78, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri.

Born on January 22, 1948, in Charleston, Missouri, Joyce was the beloved daughter of Galen and Josephine Ferrell. From a young age, she demonstrated a deep sense of compassion and a desire to help others—qualities that would define her life and career.

Joyce earned her Nursing degree and dedicated more than 4 decades to caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Her professional life reflected a relentless compassion for others, and she served faithfully in the nursing field for over 40 years. Through her dedication and care, her work touched countless lives, offering comfort, healing, and hope to those in need.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Clemons; their children, Brad and Angie Clemons, and Brian Clemons; and her grandchildren, Andrew Clemons and Addison Clemons. Joyce’s family was the center of her world, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them.
