Sandra L. Merritt Obituary
Sandra L. Merritt, 78, Union Star, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026.
She was born October 10, 1947 to Charles R. and Winnifred J. (Gowen) McGlaun in Detroit, Michigan.
Sandra married Richard Eugene Merritt on August 7, 1965.
Sandra's passions were humble yet brought her immense satisfaction. Her excitement over a new pack of scratcher tickets was always evident in her hopeful anticipation. She was a fan of television shows like "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "Longmire," which offered her relaxing evenings. Perhaps Sandra's greatest joy was found in baking, not solely for the art itself but for the opportunity to brighten someone's day with her delectable creations.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; siblings, Randy, Rocky, Pamela, and Georgia McGlaun.
Survivors include her children, Jeana Grannis (Ken), Richard Merritt, Jr., Lisa Winslow, and Reana Merritt.
