Geraldine Jane Clark Marshall passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2026. She was
a woman known to never bite her tongue. She was resilient, loving, giving, and kind-
hearted. She even had an impeccable sense of style. Geri enjoyed being around her
grandchildren. They were the light of her life.
Geraldine was born April 23rd, 1936, to Kitty and Wilbur Clark in Closter, New Jersey.
She is preceded in death by her sister Thelma Spence and eldest son Eddie Marshall.
Geraldine attended the Closter School System until she graduated high school.
Geraldine then worked as a clerk typist, nurse’s aid, and a switchboard operator for
several years. She was a faithful, devoted member at her childhood church Closter
A.M.E Zion Church where she served as an usher and sang in the choir.
She was married to Malcolm Robert Marshall Sr. also known as Harold (deceased).
Geraldine is survived by her five loving children: Darrell Sr., Karen, Malcolm Jr., Robin,
and Melinda. As well as six grandchildren: Monique, Luticia, Darrell Jr., Devon, Ashley,
and Harry. Two great-grandchildren: Jaedyn and Cameron. Along with son in law
Timothy Brown, daughter in law Mandy Marshall, and nephew David Spence.
The family welcomes you to join us in celebrating the life of Geraldine. Services will be
held on Wednesday, January 14th at Eternity Funeral Services, 129 Engle St,
Englewood, NJ 07631. Viewing will start at 1PM. Funeral service will be from 2PM-3PM.
