Kathy A. “Bean” (Coffey) Maschari, 72 of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2026, at her home.

She was born in Sandusky and was a lifelong resident and a 1972 graduate of Perkins High School. Kathy was employed and retired from Cedar Fair. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a life member of the AMVETS Post 17 Auxiliary.

Kathy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and spend time with all her family. She was an avid sports fan especially when it came to watching her grandkids. She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by David A. (Zook) Maschari; her daughter,  Kam (Craig) Mesenburg; her son, Bryon (Dianna) Maschari; grandchildren, Bailey, Davin, Maverick, Kavery, Robert, Kristofer, and Faith; sister, Bobbie Cantelli; brothers, Ron (Lori) Rickenbaugh, Steve Rickenbaugh, and Scott (Flo) Rickenbaugh; special cousin, Deb Ferguson, and many very special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Claudine Rickenbaugh and Rodger Coffey.

At Kathy’s request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit from 3:00 pm until a prayer service at 6:00 pm on Wednesday January 14, 2026, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
