Jack Migliore, age 83, passed away suddenly on January 8, 2026. He was born on April 22, 1942, in Terrasini, Sicily, to Giuseppe and Paolina (née Trupiano) Migliore. Along with his parents, Jack emigrated from Sicily to Windsor, Ontario, at the age of 10, beginning a life marked by hard work, perseverance, and devotion to family.
After meeting his soon-to-be wife, Annette, Jack immigrated to the United States. On June 6, 1964, Jack married the love of his life, Annette. Together, they built a beautiful life grounded in love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Beginning in 1967, Jack, with the help of friends and family, built their warm and welcoming home in Fraser, where countless memories were made. Their 60 years of marriage were filled with deep love and cherished moments shared with family and friends.
Jack was a man of many talents and abilities. A mason by trade, he was also an entrepreneur who owned his own bar and farm. He took great pride in working the land, especially growing tomatoes for canning and making homemade sauce. Jack enjoyed gardening and bowling, but his greatest joy came from time spent in Caseville. The family cottage was his happy place, where summers were filled with laughter, gatherings, and long days on the water. Jack especially loved fishing from his boat, finding peace and contentment on the lake, often sharing those moments with family and friends.
Above all else, Jack was a devoted family man. His family meant the world to him, and nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by those he loved. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he deeply adored each of them.
Jack is survived by his beloved children, Paula (Brian) Sanford, Laura Schultz, and Joel (Kristin) Migliore; his cherished grandchildren, Jake (Cailin), Paige, Julia, Amber (Edy), Amanda, Alyssa, Hannah, Alexander, and Luke; and his dear brothers, Vito and Bruno Migliore. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Felicia Germani.
Jack will be remembered for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he so proudly built.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 11am-2pm with a memorial service beginning at 2pm at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser, Michigan 48026.
