Esther Q. Prado, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, at the age of 89, in Hemet, California. Born on February 18, 1936, in the beautiful state of Colorado, Esther lived a life marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and the joys of simple pleasures.


Those who knew Esther will fondly remember her as the epitome of a loving and faith-filled woman. Her warmth radiated through her friendly demeanor, touching the lives of everyone she met. Esther's journey through life was shared with her beloved children, Dickie Prado, Christopher Prado and his wife Jane, and Jesus Prado and his wife Arely. She was the proud grandmother to 12 grandchildren who adored her, and 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild who were the apple of her eye. Her siblings, Delfino Quiroz, Tommy Quiroz and Mary Campos also survives her, a testament to the enduring bond of siblings. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Brigido Prado, and her daughter, Ramona Prado, both of whom she loved dearly.


A woman of devout faith, Esther's relationship with God was the cornerstone of her existence. It was this faith that she leaned on throughout her life and imparted to those around her. Her family was the center of her world, and she nurtured each relationship with care, imparting wisdom, love, and a joy for life that was infectious.


Esther was never one to shy away from a good time. She delighted in playing cards with friends and family, her laughter and competitive spirit making every game memorable. Her visits to the casinos were not just about the thrill of the game, but also about the pleasure of socializing and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.
