Kathryn L. “Kathy” Roberts, 75, Weaubleu, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar.
She was born February 2, 1950 in Spokane, Washington, the daughter of the late Denzel Barnes and Shirley (Binger) Fyten. She was united in marriage April 23, 1968 to Larry D. Roberts. He preceded her in death in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Steve and Denny Barnes and a grandson, Jericho Lirio.
Kathy was a stubborn but caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was everything to her. She was very frugal and could turn a penny into $100.00. For many years helped manage the family business, L&K Trucking Company, was a member of Riverdale Baptist Church, and loved her dogs, especially “Minnie”.
She is survived by two daughters, Priscilla Kendall and her husband Edwin, and Robin Thompson and her husband Mikel; a son, Larry Roberts and his wife Melody; a brother, Vernon Barnes; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Highlandville Cemetery, Highlandville.
