Kevin Daniel Noel

(July 13, 1969 – January 8, 2026)

Kevin Daniel Noel, 56, of Brentwood, Pennsylvania, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Born in Portland, Maine, and raised in Cumberland, Kevin earned the rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 58 and graduated from Greely High School in 1987. He then proudly served in the United States Army for eight years before being honorably discharged following injury. Following his military service, Kevin earned a degree in Public Management from Austin Peay State University in 2008.

Kevin devoted more than 25 years of his professional life to serving fellow veterans as a National Service Officer with Disabled American Veterans (DAV). His work was more than a career—it was a mission. Kevin tirelessly advocated for veterans and their families, ensuring they received the benefits, care, and dignity they earned and deserved through service to our nation. He also volunteered with numerous fraternal DAV Chapters, where he was a trusted advocate, mentor, and friend to countless veterans.

Kevin’s proudest achievement was being a devoted and loving father to his three children: Alexander Noel (25), Jillian Noel (22), both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Anabella Noel (19) of Huntington, West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Noel. Kevin is survived by his mother, Kathleen Noel; his sister, Christine (Aaron) Hamlen; and his niece and nephew, Becca and Bailey Hamlen, all of Cumberland, Maine as well as others whom he considered family.

Friends, colleagues, and fellow veterans are invited to celebrate his life on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home, 430 Washington Ave. Bridgeville, PA 15017 from 11AM -1:30PM, where a celebration of life will be held at 1:30PM. Kevin will be laid to rest following with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Pennsylvania

A second celebration of life will be held at a later date in Maine for local family, friends, and members of the veteran community.
