Our thoughts are with the Horn family on the loss of their domestic short hair, Princess.  Joan got Princess as a kitten and named by her grandson, Abel, she acted like a princess so the name fit perfectly. Abel once put her in the trash can as a young child, and Princess did not like or forget it. After that experience, she became a pistol, and livewire. She loved climbing in the Christmas tree and would peek out of a hole that she found. Any snack with a crinkly bag would bring her out, she loved cheese curls and steak. She also loved catnip. At night, she would usually sleep at Joan’s feet or back, until recently when she began to snuggle up with Joan. Joan’s lesson was to always turn on the light in the middle of the night to avoid unpleasant surprises. Abel’s lesson was to always keep going. Princess will be deeply missed by Joan and Abel.
