David S. Bishop Sr., 61, of Bridgeport, NY passed away on Thursday January, 08, 2026.

Calling hours will be held at Traub Funeral Home in Bridgeport, NY on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 4:00PM - 6:00PM, with words of remembrance to conclude. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bridgeport VFW on Saturday, January 17, 2026 beginning at 2pm.

David was born to Janette Brown in Syracuse, NY on July 25, 1964. He was a 1982 graduate of Cicero High School and the owner and operator of DB Trux in Bridgeport, NY. 

David was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, New York.  He was a collector, a jack of all trades, and the life of the party. He also loved Elvis and Dale Earnhardt. 

Besides his mother; he is predeceased by his brothers; Francis and Kenneth Vanbramer.

Surviving is his loving wife; Tina Bishop, his children; Derek, Kristy, David Jr, and Dylan Bishop, his siblings; Betsy Vanbramer, Barbara Vanbramer, Sharon Brown and James Brown, and wife Kim, and his grandchildren; Haylee Way and Weston Bishop, as well as extended family members.
