Passed away on January 8, 2026, at age 88. Predeceased by her children, Gregory A. Farsace and Lynne M. Farsace; Sister, Shirley DeBerg. Survived by her caring husband, Gregory G. Farsace; Loving son, Steven (Theresa) Farsace; Grandchildren, Devon King, Heather (David) Collins, Scott Farsace, Brenna (Ben) Martino, Alaina (Ozhan) Akcakaya, Alyssa (Jacob) Farsace-Williams, Laura Farsace and Jared Farsace; Great-grandchildren, Isaac Farsace, Dean Akcakaya and Juliet Collins; Daughter in-law, Barbara DeRosa Farsace; Siblings, Debbie Truesdale and Patricia Stafford; Also, many family and friends.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose greatest joy was her family.

Barb, also known as Grandma B., loved animals, sewing, baking, angels and the color sky blue.  

In her professional career she worked as a Rochester City School District bus driver, a U.S. Postal clerk, a certified EMT with Penfield Ambulance and as the Bookkeeper for the family business, Professional Auto Body.  She also coordinated the 50th reunion for the West High School class of 1956.

Barbara was hard working, responsible, and reliable. Fiercely protective and wise. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to let her opinion be known. We will miss her warmth and strength. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 16, from 4pm – 7pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. Webster, N.Y. 14580. Interment will be held privately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
