Emory "Lynn" Rockwell, 81, of Chesterfield, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Velma and Raeford Rockwell and his nephew, Chris Rockwell. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Carol; brother, Raeford Rockwell (Janice); niece, Stephanie Kopia (Brian); great-nieces, Anna and Lily Kopia and his great-nephew, Jack Cooper Crowell. Lynn proudly served as a United States Marine, a role that reflected his strong sense of duty and commitment. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching all sports. He loved the outdoors and took great pride in working in his beautiful yard. Lynn especially enjoyed spending time walking his adoring dog, Kayleigh, who brought him much joy. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his love of nature and the quiet pleasures that meant so much to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service celebrating Lynn's life will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA. A visitation and reception will follow the graveside service at Bliley's Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Rd., Richmond, VA, at 1 p.m. All are welcome to attend both or either depending on your circumstances and the weather.
