Theresa Elaine Hallett of Hartly, Delaware passed away January 3, 2026, from a battle with cancer.
Theresa’s spiritual beliefs were a cornerstone of her life. Her fellowship with family and friends were ever present in her devotion to God. Theresa is fondly remembered for her ability to connect and make a friend out of a stranger.

Theresa’s love of music was evident by performing as a member of the Delaware Choral Society and as a member of her church choirs at Woodside UMC and Hartly UMC. She supported her children’s musical aspirations as a member of Dover High School band and chorus booster clubs.
Theresa is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles G. Hallett, son Jeffrey C. Hallett, parents Vern and Hannah Playful, and brothers, Raymond and Robert Burnor.
