William Edward Clore Obituary

William Edward Clore, 56, of Crestview Hills and formerly of Ft. Thomas, passed away on January 8, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY.


Ed was an Attorney and ran his own private practice (W. Edward Clore, PLLC). He earned his bachelor’s degree in Loss Prevention Management from Eastern Kentucky University and his Juris Doctor (JD) from Chase College of Law. Ed was a member of Campbell County Game & Fish and served as an NRA representative. He enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, fishing, hunting, and collecting Native American art. Ed had a special love for his cats, but above all, he cherished his family.


He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Clore & Sandra (nee. Amend) Clore Schmaedecke; son, Quinn Stapleton & father-in-law, Woody Stapleton.


Ed is survived by his loving wife, Bridget (nee. Stapleton) Clore; daughters, Madison & Rylee Clore; and sister, Karen (Chad) Ford.


Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, January 13th at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 14th at St. Thomas Church, Ft. Thomas. Ed will be laid to rest in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
