Bobby made his mark in the communications industry with a distinguished career of 35 years at South Central Bell, where he spent many years contributing to the field. However, his true legacy extended far beyond the workplace. A dedicated family man, he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his daughter, Kathy J. Bobby is preceded in death by his wife of over 71 years, Betty Arrington; parents, Commie Arrington, and Rhoda Arrington; brothers: Elmer Arrington, Earl Arrington, Mayo Arrington, and Leo Arrington, and sister, Nora Beltz.

As a deacon at Hebron Baptist Church, Bobby's faith was a guiding light in his life. He devoted countless hours to teaching Sunday school, nurturing the next generation with wisdom, patience, and kindness. His mentorship extended beyond the church, impacting many lives in the Dry Prong community. Bobby was not just a mentor but a friend to all; his gentle spirit and laugh brought people together and created lasting memories.

In his free time, Bobby enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-whether it was fishing, hunting, or woodworking, he could always be found outdoors, relishing the beauty of nature. The love he poured into his hobbies mirrored the love he gave to his family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, 7963 Hwy 122, Dry Prong, LA 71423, directed towards the following programs: Operation Christmas Child, Children and Youth Programs, or Mission Projects.
