Mary Ann Chambers, 65, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Mon General Hospital, surrounded by love. Born on February 15, 1960, in Kingwood, she was the beloved daughter of the late Paul Albert Chambers Sr. and Goldie Ann Moats Chambers.
Mary devoted her life to her family as a homemaker, a role she cherished deeply. She found joy in the simple things—drawing, playing video games, watching her favorite horror movies, shopping, and most of all, spending precious time with the people she loved. Mary had a gentle spirit, a creative heart, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew her.
She leaves behind her greatest treasures, her daughters, Amber Lee Freeze and her husband Ryan, and Tiffany Chambers, all of Grafton. Mary was also a proud and loving grandmother to Sabrina Chambers, who brought immense happiness to her life. She is survived by her brothers, Harold Moats of Morgantown and Larry Chambers of Buckhannon, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jonathan Chambers; her siblings, Beverly Kay Chambers, Rodney Allen Chambers, Dale William Chambers, Linda Darlene Baker, Elma Felicia Cupari, Joseph Richard Chambers, Paul Herbert Chambers, and Denzil P. Chambers; her dearest friend and sister-in-law, Carol Moats, who was like a sister to her.
Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Avenue, Newburg, WV, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery in Morgantown, WV.
