Mark Alan Ostermiller, 67 yrs, of Fremont, NE, passed away, January 10, 2026, at Methodist Fremont Health.

Mark was born July 5, 1958, in LaGrange, IL, to George and Bernadine (Michaelis) Ostermiller. He resided in LaGrange and Evanston, IL until 1961, before moving to Omaha. Mark graduated from Omaha Benson High School in 1976. He moved to Fremont in 1993. Mark worked as an auto mechanic for 8 years and at Oilgear in Fremont for 10 years. Mark also worked at the Corner Bar in Fremont.

Mark married Dawn Kennebeck on September 10, 2011, in Omaha. He was a member of the Dundee Presbyterian Church in Omaha and was active at the May Museum in Fremont. Mark was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and Huskers fan. He enjoyed college basketball.

Mark is survived by his wife, Dawn of Fremont; brother, Tim (Michelle) Ostermiller of Omaha; sisters, Laura (Jack) Hart of Gig Harbor, WA, Beth (Bill) MacArthur of Columbus, and Ann (Matt) Parmenter of Fremont; father-in-law, Jim (Dolly) Kennebeck of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Marlene Kennebeck.

The memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Please wear red, green, or blue in honor of the Huskers, Packers, and the Blue Jays.
