Scottie Lee Blevins, 44, of Midway, WV passed away unexpectedly at home on January 3, 2026 after a long illness.
He was born February 25, 1981 in Beckley, WV, a son of the late James and Donna Blevins.
Scottie loved spending time with his loving wife, their children, and grandchildren. He loved singing and riding four wheelers. He was an excellent cook and he loved his dog Bella.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Blevins.
Scottie is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Amanda Blevins; son, Timothy Alderman of Dry Creek; daughter, Alana Coon of Dry Creek; seven grandchildren, Brielle Alderman, Leighton Alderman, Austin Alderman, Jeremiah Alderman, Conner Alderman, Nova Coon, and Waylon Coon; brother, Michael Blevins of Michigan; nephews, Brett Blevins of Soak Creek, Michael James Blevins of Soak Creek, and Mason Blevins of Georgia; and a host of family and friends.
Scottie was loved by so many. He will be missed. He leaves us with so many precious memories. The family is having a Celebration of Life on January 10, 2026 at Soak Creek Gospel Tabernacle at noon. The church is located at 1804 WV 16, Sophia, WV 25821. All those that love Scottie and wish to come out to honor his memory are invited to attend.
