Passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at The Village of Winston Park in Kitchener, ON at the age of 100.
Beloved wife of the late Steven (1974).
Loving mother of Steven Geschi (Sherry), John Geschi, and the late Joseph Geschi (Maureen).
Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Laurie), Andrew (Yvette) and Kyle (Monica).
Adoring great grandmother of Liam, Nolan, Taylor (Rodney) and Isaac.
Dear sister of Juliška.
Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Lajoš and Juliška and her sister, Ajica and her brother, Lajoš.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 AM - 10:15 AM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will take place at 10:30 AM in the chapel followed by a reception. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, 119 Arlington Blvd. Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Mt. Zion Assembly or the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
