Valerie Lynn Woodman was born on January 23, 1962, in Jasper, Alberta, to her loving parents, Sydney and Mary Jackson. Valerie passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.
Valerie will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with those around her. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 31, 2026 from 1:00pm- 4:00pm at the Diamond Centre in Mayerthorpe, AB. All who knew Valerie are welcome to attend.
