Funeral services for Mr. Elias Edward Baldwin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Dr. Louise Baldwin Barger officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Bentley, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Baldwin, 82, of Center Point, entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for twenty years as a pilot. An avid Harley-Davidson fan, he was also known as a motorcycle-riding pastor. He found great joy in celebrating with his church family and devoted himself to praying for anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Ann Baldwin; his second wife, Helen Baldwin; and his parents, Curtis and Vade Baldwin.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include one son, Charles Edward Baldwin (Tina) of Florida; three daughters, Mia Charrier (T.C.) of Pineville, Susan Carmouche of Center Point, and Jamie Steele of Center Point; one sister, Dr. Louise Baldwin Barger of St. Louis, Missouri; ten grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
