David W. Guenther, age 69, passed away peacefully under hospice care on January 8, 2026. David loved fishing more than anything and found great joy in wood carving. He was a deeply loving and caring person who touched the lives of many. David enjoyed attending Nerd concerts, loved gardening, and was known for having a true green thumb. He will be dearly missed by his many loving cousins, family members, friends, and neighbors.

A funeral service will be held at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, on Friday, January 16, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of sending flowers please make memorial donations to Niagara Hopsice.
