She died in Salado, Texas on her way to shop for tea (one of her favorite things to do, shop) in an automobile accident. Donna was visiting her son Steve and his wife Faith, and their family for Christmas. She lived in Centennial, CO upon her death.

Preceded in death, by her beloved husband John V. Leach Jr, her father William R. Andrews, and mother, Jo Hazel Andrews, and her brother Wayne C. Andrews Sr.

Donna lived an adventurous life. She lived all over the United States and abroad; New Orleans, LA. (in the French Quarter), all over Denver, CO., Aspen, CO., Vicksburg, MS., San Diego, CA., Livermore, CA., Scottsdale AZ., Baghdad, Iraq and more locations.

She had many careers that kept her life exciting! When she was going to college, she was a model and met her future husband, John. She worked at Ochsner Hospital as an operating room scrub nurse. She was a dental hygienist. She worked at Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, in Livermore, CA. She worked for the government as an administrator (in Iraq), and much more. Her favorite thing she did was raise her three sons and through the years enjoyed all her grandchildren!

Donna married John V. Leach Jr. in 1969. He was a pilot and she was smitten. She loved to travel and LOVED her family but the most important thing in her life was her relationship with Jesus. Although Donna was very faithful to go with her family to the Catholic church when she was growing up. When she was a young girl she attended a Billy Graham Crusade, where she publicly professed Jesus as her Savior. Donna loved telling people about Jesus. It was obvious her devotion to God! She was a prayer warrior, loved going on mission trips, doing bible studies and going to church. She attended Jubilee Fellowship Church where she loved to serve in many ministries.

Donna’s favorite scripture was: 2 Corinthians 5:17 which says: If anyone be in Christ, they are a new creation. The old is gone, and the new has come!

She was a great wife, mother, grandmother (GG) and a friend to so many. Her family and friends will miss her beautiful spirit, her incredible style, her contagious love, her unforgettable bling!

She closed her eyes on earth and opened them to see Jesus in heaven.
