Milburn Blackmon III Obituary

Milburn "Third" Blackmon III peacefully passed away on January 8, 2026. He was born on June 10, 1969, in Lancaster, South Carolina, to Mada Blackmon and the late Milbur Blackmon II.


Affectionately known as "Third," he was a devoted member of United Bibleway Church of Lancaster, SC. He was united in holy matrimony to his beloved wife, Naclinte Letrail Harris-Blackmon, and together they shared a life rooted in love, family, and faith.


Third was educated in the Lancaster County School District and was a proud graduate of Lancaster High School, Class of 1987. He was retired as a machine operator and was formerly employed with Harris Teeter.


Third had a deep appreciation for nature and especially enjoyed working in his yard. He was a huge New York Giants fan and looked forward to every game with excitement. Above all, he cherished spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends.


He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Naclinte L. Harris-Blackmon of Lancaster, SC; four sons: DeQwon Blackmon of Columbia, SC; Tyree Hayden-Blackmon, Tomas Hayden-Blackmon, and Roderious Anthony fr., all of Lancaster, SC; five daughters: Marquisha Hayden-Blackmon of Lancaster, SC; Sophia Collins of Concord, NC; Bre Asia Collins of Lancaster, SC; Shalearah Lowery (Nicholas) of Lancaster, SC; and Quannitra Brown of Lancaster, SC; stepchildren and extended family: Shaborn Allah (Shaasia), Jonathan Winfield, Reginald Blackmon, Kenny Gaddy, Cordaro Cunningham, all of Lancaster, SC; Broderick Elder of For Lawn, SC; Jarris Elder (Ashley) of Rock Hill, SC; Kenitro Williams (Nicole) of Kings Mountain, NC; Michael Wade (Marilyn) of Lancaster, SC; Frederick Wade (Caroline) of Pineville, NC; Shadeerreah Blackmon of Kershaw, SC: Sharika Harris, Okiki Elder, and Paula Hunter, all of Lancaster, SC; sixteen grandchildren; his mother, Mada Blackmon; his parents-in-law, Lisa and Ronnie Davis of Lancaster, SC; a special friend, Lucille Gaincy of Lancaster, SC; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.


He was preceded in death by his father, Milbur Blackmon Il, and his grandmother, Matilda Blackmon.


Milbum “Third" Blackmon III will be fondly remembered for his love of family, his gentle spirit, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.
