Lois Jean Goosey Obituary

Lois Jean Bange Goosey, age 77, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at her home following a long illness. She was born May 19, 1948, in London, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Essie Allen McDaniel. She was a retired general manager for Best Western Hotel where she worked for thirty years and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Richmond.  She loved gardening and was known for growing beautiful flowers.  She is survived by:

2 stepsons: Tommy Goosey

Steven Goosey

1 stepdaughter: Cynthia Goosey

A host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Bruce Johnson, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 14, 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Doss officiating. Burial will be at the West Irvine Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.
