Richard Garwood Daniel Sarazin Obituary

Ritchie, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He will forever be remembered as “Spy Man”, dancing and singing to the good ole tunes like Presley, Horton, Springsteen and Thorogood. We are missing him, but we know he’s in his happy hunting grounds.


Survived by his devoted wife Bonnie, sons Crockett and Danny (Tracy), grandchildren Keigan, Vera and Wesley and siblings, Pauline, Norma (Cliff), Brenda (Ken), Merv (Linda), Annette (Dave), Jeffrey (Colleen), Barry, Joe, Jerry and Rosemary.

Predeceased by parents Daniel & Bernadette (nee Lavalley), stepson Michael Kohoko and siblings, Gary, Lynden, Kevin, Stanley, Donald, Beatrice, Francis, Gertrude, Leonard, Walter, Katherine and Archie.


Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the Makwa Community Centre, 83B Kagagimin Inamo, Pikwakanagan, Ontario from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with services from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. A light luncheon will be served throughout the visitation.


In lieu you of flowers, the family is accepting donations towards funeral costs.
